The freshman boys race featured Jacob Magaw who finished 46th in his racing debut. 8 Quotes for Coach Lori Petrik:
“I thought the kids competed well under difficult conditions with the extreme heat and very rough course. We walked away with 4 medals today which is the most we’ve ever won at this race. Our 4 medal winners Alexandra, Devin, Derek, and Scott all looked very strong over the last mile of the race which is nice to see this early in the season.”
The Cougars will next compete on Tuesday, Sept 6th at the Del Sol Multiple in Las Vegas and will then travel to the Las Vegas Invitational on Saturday, Sept 10th.
